The 6th International Science Festival, the largest science promotion event in the South East Europe, this year will be extended with one extra day, and lasts four days, from Thursday 29 November until Sunday 2 December.
International Science Festival Belgrade provides research and knowledge institutions throughout Serbia and offer strong national and international partnerships between institutions, public and commercial sector in promoting scientific research. It has a commitment of bringing and presenting talent from all over the world whose ideas and work are reshaping world science community and opportunity to participate and provide general public with an insight into what they do, conveying the important role that science and research play in everyday life.
There are guests from National Museum of Natural Sciences Madrid, City of Arts and Science Valencia, Cognitive Science Department Paris, National Museum of Science and Technology Stockholm, Science made Simple, University of Lugano, Science et Cite foundation, Thailand Science Society, Forensic Futures Education Group USA, Les Atomes Crochus, Lund University Sweden, AHHAA Science center Tallin and many others.
The slogan for the 6th edition of Serbian Science Festival is “NO THEORY?” and this year’s hallmark, cheerful brain is ready to train the brain cells of every eager visitor.
The four venues where the ISF Belgrade takes place are located in downtown Belgrade: former department store of KLUZ company, Student Cultural Center, Gallery of the National Bank of Serbia and “Bojan Stupica” Stage of Yugoslav Drama Theater.
The novelty of the 6th edition of Serbian Science Festival is the evening program that targets adult audience featuring concerts, fun educational programs, “Taboo Stage” and the Cinema “Microscope.”
